it’s always cool to see all of the friends i’ve made in gainesville again.  in fact it’s the reason i try so damn hard to book that town.

the civic media center (which is on south main st) is an awesome place.  it’s kind of like a library/info center and their back catelog of zines from the nineties is amazing.  i found a copy of BYOFL from 93 that was awesome.  those are the days before internet when you had to call someone on the phone and actually use human interaction to book yourown tours.  i have no idea what that was like but i’m a little bummed i never got to try that.

there are a ton of highlights from the night.

1.  go to myspace.com/lindseymillz right this second and listen to “i’ll have a long beard…”  you will thank me for it.

2.  coffee project is heading out on the road for a pretty long time in the spring/beginning of summer in support of their new album.  go buy it when it comes out and then see them on the road.  it’s important to support good music, especially these guys who have supported me every single time i’ve been to gainesville.

3.  nicole miglis is just more awesome every time i see her.

i’m off to play the diYno house in talahassee right now and then i begin my epic 22 hour drive to make it back to johnstown in time for bowling league on tuesday…
